We found out the top high school in Western New York for this year and now lets take a look at all 96 school districts to see who will top the list around Buffalo.

Buffalo Business First has released the Top 14 on their site earlier in the Summer. Does your kid's district rank among the best of the best?

So how do they do it? Here are some of the criteria that was looked at:

They use a scale of 100 points and all of these that you see in the list have at least 90 points on the scale. All districts from Allegany, Cattaraugus, Chautauqua, Erie, Genesee, Niagara, Orleans and Wyoming counties were looked at and  "separate ranks in the four core subjects of English, math, science and social studies" were looked at.
