Buffalo firefighters were called to the scene of a blaze on Niagara Street, between Massachusetts Avenue and Rhode Island Street.

The call came into firefighters around 6:00A.M. this morning, and numerous crew, including the Salvation Army Disaster Services team, were on the scene.

Firefighters were scene carrying two children out of the burning house, and both were unharmed. Six adults are currently being assisted by the American Red Cross.

The cause of the fire is under investigation, but so far damage has been estimated at $135,000. At least two other buildings were also damaged.
