KFYR TV / Bismarck, ND

A war vet named Harold Krueger is turning 90 this year. His wife of 63 yeas was planning on throwing him a party. But LaVina died before his birthday, and Harold was alone for the first time in 63 years.

His daughter Debra Turner turned to Facebook, and asked her friends to send him a few cards to cheer him up. They shared the post, it went viral, and now he’s getting HUNDREDS of cards from people all over the country.
