Becoming a graduate is a great achievement for many people.

However, for young adult, Brittney, there were many obstacles in her way, yet she never let anything get in the way of her aspirations.

Hi Delilah,

I am 23 years old and a single mom to an almost 1-year-old beautiful girl named Norah. She has inspired me so much; I am a completely different person than I was before. I'm back in school, and graduating with three different degrees and a CNA at the end of the month. I have a 4.0 GPA and I'm on the Dean's List. I work full time, go to classes at night, plus raising my little girl.

I knew I could accomplish anything because my mom did the same thing when I was a little girl. She has also been an amazing inspiration to my little family. I wouldn't be half the woman I am without my Norah Jean Marie. I hope that sharing my story with other girls in the same position as I am, will inspire and show them that nothing is impossible!

I can't imagine what it's going to feel like when I walk on graduation day knowing I have those diplomas for us to better our life together. Nothing would mean more to me than to shout over the mountain tops that "I DID IT!" I feel like I can conquer the world, and all because of the little girl that encompasses mine.

Brittney
