Barbara Walters never ceases to amaze me! Yesterday she gave her candid thoughts on the Anthony Weiner controversy on 'The View' (weekdays, syndicated on ABC). She doesn't think he should resign if his constituents still want him. And however offended she might be by the photos of Weiner, she said she found them somewhat impressive.

"What he has done is unfathomable," said Walters, "I think the pictures are disgusting, but I think he has hit rock bottom and this may be what he needed so that he changes his life. He has been a good and effective congressman." An ethics committee can investigate and chastise, she added, but he shouldn't step down.
