America’s Grape Country Wine Festival This Weekend

The posters for this weekend's event in Dunkirk write "Enjoy food, wine, craft beer and Live Music"  Do we even need the prompt to enjoy? The combinations of all of these things guarantees fun. So, unless you avoiding fun, head to the Chautauqua County Fair Grounds for America's Grape Country Wine Festival from August 11th-13th.

The kick-off party starts this Friday and runs from 6:00-10:00.  On Saturday and Sunday during the actual wine festival (11-6 Saturday, 12-5 Sunday) there will be a ton of things to do.

• Interactive wine and cooking demonstrations
• 5th Annual Lake Shore Street Rod Association Classic Car Show
• Live music
• Craft vendors

And of course tons of wineries, cideries, distilleries and breweries to sample from, including local favorites like Merritt Estate Winery, Montezuma Winery, Hazlitt 1852 Vineyards and many more!
