An Amtrak Train traveling from Washington D.C. to New York derailed in Philadelphia on Tuesday night.

All seven cars came off the track, and at least one appeared to have been ripped open by the force of the derailment. Mayor Michael Nutter said that more than 240 people were believed to be on board, but too early to say if everyone has been accounted for. At this point, at least six people were killed, and more than one hundred others were injured. State officials are currently in the process of reuniting crash victims with their families.

Federal investigators are now looking into the cause of the crash, and have closed down the corridor between Washington and New York.
