More than one in ten workers will shop online this CyberMonday!

Today will likely be a busy day for Internet usage at work, but not all of it will be job-related.  That's because it's Cyber Monday, the first Monday after Thanksgiving and a day when many retailers offer on-line bargains to would-be shoppers.  According to an annual survey by CareerBuilder.com, 29-percent of workers say they have holiday shopped online at work, and 27-percent of those planning to shop online this year expect to spend one hour or more doing so.

AOL Consumer Advisor LaToya Drake  recommends a site called ShortCuts.com for cash-back deals from many online retailers.  Besides ShortCuts.com, shoppers can also click on Guilt.com and RueLaLa.com for private sales.  Those sites also have free apps for smartphones, as do many large retailers.  There are also flash sales when an item suddenly goes on sale online and then vanishes as soon as inventory runs out.
