This is starting to be a major problem.  If people are getting caught cheating the government when they win the lotto, imagine how many other people are out there cheating the system.

Shouldn't there be a better screening process for these government programs?  Remember the story from a couple weeks ago where a woman from Michigan won the lottery but was still collecting welfare because she didn't technically have any yearly income?

Well there is now a man from Albion that collects $1,000 a week and he also collects thousands of dollars in state aid that is meant for the poor.

He won money on a scratch off ticket that pays him $1,000 a week for the rest of his life.  Glad he was caught, but imagine all the people that didn't win the lottery that are cheating the government.
