Welcome to the wacky, wild world of Buffalo weather.  The National Weather Service office in Buffalo has issued a winter storm watch taking effect tonight and concluding tomorrow evening for most of Western New York including metro Buffalo.  Heavy snow may accumulate 4 to 8 inches.  Winds are forcast to be in the 15 to 25 mph range gusting as high as 40 mph.  Many of the trees have their leaves already just waiting to capture those falling flakes which will be very heavy due to the warmer temperatures.  This extra weight could well cause tree limbs to break off and fall.  The same goes for power lines.  And lets not forget hazardous driving conditions.

Lets be careful out there!  Then again we may dodge another bullet.  We've been getting pretty good at this.
