Are McDonald’s Self-Serve Kiosks’ a Sacrifice to Customer Service?
In Los Angeles and Seattle now, McDonald’s employees are making a $15 an hour minimum wage. This is a move McDonald’s employees have been waiting for. And now, the fast food giant has found a way to make their employees jobs a bit easier while improving customer service...or does it? Soon, you may find self-serve kiosks at your favorite McDonald's location. What do you think about that?
As an occasional McDonald's customer (I have a six year-old) I would rather deal with an actual human being. But when there is a long line and impatient child who wants to get into the play place, an automated kiosk sure will come in handy.
