The quick-edited imagery that MTV brought to society back in the 80s changed the way TV was presented to us.

It's now very common, and practically unnoticeable anymore, to have sound effects going behind the newscasts, or audio swooshes and computer graphics multiple times just to see a replay on a Sunday football game. Life is fast paced, and our visual stimulation of today makes TV of the past look very slow.

Well, British Airways is doing something about it -- welcome SLOW TV!
