Arrests Made in Alleged Prostitution Ring

Tonawanda Police arrested three women on Friday for operating a prostitution ring out of a massage parlor.

The arrests were made after an undercover officer was solicited for sex, following an ongoing investigation at Sunnyside Massage in the Hinds Street Plaza. Jinrong Wang, 57, Zou Yan, 53, and Lihua Sun, 51, were all booked on charges of Permitting Prostitution, Promoting Prostitution in the third degree, Obstructing Government Administration and Resisting Arrest.

A federal detainer was issued for Lihua Sun, who is considered an illegal alien. She is currently being held on $500 bail. Yan and Wang are each being held on $5,000 bail.
