Best Places to Take Dad on Father’s Day in Buffalo – Our Top Five
I don’t know about you but my Dad has always put his kids needs ahead of his own. As a child I could not understand why he never did more things that he enjoyed. Most of the time he was driving us here and there, going to one of our baseball or basketball games, helping us with our homework when he could have been watching the Bills game on TV. It wasn’t until I became a father that I began to understand why my father did what he did. When you have a child of your own a switch goes off in your body that makes you want to do nothing but look after your children.
This Father’s Day we should all show how much we appreciate what our father’s have sacrificed and treat them to a day of relaxation and fun, but most of all spend time with them.
Here are our top five places to take Dad on Father’s Day.
The Spirit of Buffalo
Erie Canal Harbor – Central Wharf
next to the Buffalo Naval Park

Dinner and sail includes a two hour sailing trip and dinner at Peal Street Grill. Adult tickets are $49 and children under 12 are $18.
Buffalo Naval Park
Buffalo Place at the foot of Pearl and Main streets,

Akron, NY 14001
Arrowhead Golf Club is an excellent place to spend some quality time with your dad outside while playing this championship golf course which has been rated one of the top golf courses in New York State. No membership is needed to play this course but its best to call ahead and schedule tee times.
Buffalo Historical Tours
Locations vary depending on tour
Buffalo Historical Tours are the perfect way to spend Fathers Day if your dad is a history buff. Buffalo Historical Tours offer a whole host of tours for Father’s Day including a tour of the Octagon House, the first and only octagon shaped house in Erie County, Queen City Downtown tours which tours around Buffalo’s historic downtown buildings, and Delaware Sidestep which tours Delaware’s little known side streets and even visits Buffalo’s oldest house.
Pano’s On Elmwood
1081 Elmwood Ave
Pano’s is an Elmwood Village staple that offers a fantastic brunch that dad will love. Also when the weather is allowing Pano’s indoor seating becomes outdoor seating with great views of Elmwood Ave.
