After nearly 50 years, Caroll Spinney will retire from playing Big Bird and Oscar the Grouch on "Sesame Street." The puppeteer has been with the popular children’s show since its premiere in 1969.

He picked the guys that will replace him.

Matt Vogel will play big bird. He already plays Kermit The Frog.

Eric Jacobson who will play Oscar. He already plays Grover + Bert.
