There are going to be lots of changes for the Buffalo Bills in 2013 and they have already begun. Monday, the Bills released head coach Chan Gailey and his entire staff of their duties following a third straight losing season.

It makes a lot of people angry watching he Bills year in and year out in without producing a playoff run, which, is the longest tenured drought without a playoff run in the NFL. But, lets hope here’s to a fresh start (again). In addition to the coaching staff being relieved, some more changes have occurred as well. The Buffalo Bills promoted Russ Brandon to President and Chief Executive Officer of the team and have decided to keep General Manager Buddy Nix has General Manager as well.

“Russ is a proven leader and he will now have full authority over the entire Buffalo Bills operation. I have granted him full autonomy to run the organization as he feels is best. These past 13 years have been very difficult on our fans and we have not produced the type of winning team that they deserve. It has been frustrating for our organization and for me as well. We want our team to be one that our fans are proud of. I believe that Russ has the unique abilities to assemble and lead the talent we will need to get the job done”, says Ralph Wilson.

Is it really all these internal changes that is the answer? Or is time for new ownership?

Russ Brandon says, "It's time to start a new legacy". Well, no kidding. We've been waiting.

Here’s to crossing our fingers for ’13 (…of course an unlucky number, go figure.)
