Pfizer Recalls Birth Control Pills

Pfizer is recalling about a million packages of birth control pills because they many not be effective in preventing pregnancy. 

A Pfizer news release  indicates the recall involves certain lots of Lo/Ovral-28 tablets along with Norgestrel and Ethinyl Estradiol tablets.  Pfizer says some blister packs of the oral contraceptive might not contain the correct amount of inert or active ingredients or may be out of sequence.  The medication was distributed nationwide.
