BREAKING — One Direction Splitting Up, Not Just a Haitus!

Try to pick up the pieces and deal with this in a healthy way, but One Direction...have gone their own separate directions.

According to the newest issue of Us Weekly, the British boy band has decided to call it quits, even though just months ago they called it a "hiatus".

Niall denied break-up rumors in November, but then again, they had a new album out. A source says the guys believe 1D has simply run it's course.

Perhaps they're following the "quit while you're ahead" Seinfeld model.  Maybe it's a good idea.  But your daughter might not agree.

Fear not, it's not the last you're seeing of them....they will still release a new video for another song off the "Made In The A.M." album before we all say good-bye....
