Buffalo's oldest Bishop passed away the age of 102.  Bishop Bernard Joseph McLaughlin began his work in the seminary back in 1925, and was ordained a priest in Vatican City in 1935. He was raised to higher titles by two different popes, and passed away one day before his 46th anniversary of being ordained a Bishop.

In addition to being the oldest Bishop in Buffalo, Bernard McLaughlin was the second oldest Bishop in the United States, and the third oldest Bishop in the world.
