Buffalo broadcasting legend Jim Santella will be signing his book "Classic Rock Classic Jock" on Saturday January 30th at Record Theater, 1800 Main Street and Lafayette in Buffalo, NY. Jim Santella is Buffalo born and bred and a major influence on my decision to go into a broadcasting career.

I'll never forget sitting in the crowd of on lookers as Jim took the stage to introduce the band I couldn't wait to rock too. Now I look back at the many I times I've had the pleasure of doing the same thing for the many radio stations I've worked for.

Kelly Hunt writes about Jim:

"Jim’s brilliance as a programmer and journalist is rooted in his deep knowledge of the artists and history of the music, his ability to find both common threads and contrasts and reveal what’s hiding layers below the surface. In my career my music has never been in better hands. And I have been honored to be his friend.”

If you're like me and would like to chat with the Buffalo Broadcaster's Hall of Famer, come on out Saturday the 30th and chat with a personality that made history on Buffalo radio.
