I have to admit, I DO find his videos funny and entertaining, but I also understand why some are upset about them.  I've got friends and family in law enforcement and if I've learned nothing, it's that they have to keep some sense of humor about them. They see the worst of the worst.

A three year veteran of the Buffalo Police Department, Officer Richard Hy has been posting seven-second videos on Vine, under the username "Angry Cops".  Apparently the higher-ups didn't find his videos too funny.  He's been warned before about his social media use, as in some videos he appears to be wearing his uniform...but since the story aired on WIVB, some of his friends called to say he wasn't wearing a real uniform or badge.

(Unfortunately for Hy, that argument doesn't hold up in THIS video where his name is clearly seen on his uniform....)

That didn't seem to matter to the Buffalo Police Chief.  Officer Hy was suspended without pay while they "investigate". Again, I can see why some might find the suspension necessary, but you know me, I'm a fan of humor, especially in a stressful job like law enforcement.  And I actually find him pretty funny! Here's one of the videos.  You can watch more on the Vine account.
