Are you tired of walking your dog down the block from your house every day, but not sure what parks allow dogs? Here's a list of parks in Western New York that your dog (and you) can enjoy this summer!

Niagara Falls State Park

The Barkyard

Location: West end of LaSalle Park at Porter Avenue, Buffalo

The Paw Park

Location: 500 Smith Rd., Amherst

If you want to give your dog some freedom, this is the perfect place. There are areas divided for small dogs and larger dogs for some leash-free fun!

Front Park

Location: Bordered by the Peace Bridge plaza, Porter Avenue and Busti Avenue, Buffalo

Cazenovia Park

Delaware Park

Looking for a place to run? Take your four-legged friend to Delaware Park! You'll both love the exercise and the bonding experience. Just keep the dog on a leash!

Knox Farm State Park

Two enclosures with one for smaller dogs and puppies and one for all dogs. Water tubs and trashcans are provided.

Theodore Roosevelt Inaugural National Historic Site

Location: 641 Delaware Ave., Buffalo

Dogs must be on leash and must be cleaned up after on walking tours of the historical neighborhoods. Dogs are not allowed in the house or gardens.
