Next week you will have a chance to get out and enjoy live music, great good, in one of the coolest places in Western New York.

The Buffalo Naval & Military Park’s biggest event of the year, the annual "Ship N Shore" fundraiser is back on Thursday, August 24th.

The event takes place from 5:30 pm until 8:30 pm and guest will guests will enjoy delicious food and beverages from some of the best establishments in Buffalo, listen to live music entertainment, and participate in a basket raffle, silent auction, and 50/50 raffle.

All the money raised will benefit the Naval Park. The money will be used to maintain the ships including the USS Sullivans, artifacts, museum, and grounds.

The USS Sullivans was named for the five Sullivan brothers (George, Francis, Joseph, Madison, and Albert). The Western New York natives lost their lives when their ship was sunk during WWII.

The USS Sullivans is now stabilized but more money is needed to take care of it and the other ships at the Naval Park.

If you want to attend the fundraiser, you can purchase tickets online HERE.

If you never have had a chance to walk along the dock or hop aboard the ships, this will be the perfect chance for you to do so and help out a great cause.
