Buffalo has a diverse community, which means navigating the real estate market can be difficult. For those nearing or already at retirement age, they may be looking for a change in location. Well, according to NeighborhoodScout, these are Buffalo, NY's top retirement areas.

NeighborhoodScout gathered up the best "Retirement Dream Areas" in the Buffalo and Western New York area, based on a mix of educated seniors and other ages, safety, housing choices and peace and quiet.

At the top of the list is Williamsville, NY, Main Street/Transit Road area, which has a median real estate price of $206,822. The average rental price is reportedly $1,658, according to NeighborhoodScout.
