"Buffalo Unscripted" is a movie about the city as seen from the eyes of those who live here.  The National Trust for Historic Preservation  sent a film crew to Buffalo over the summer to ask city residents questions about the place they call home.  The result, "Buffalo Unscripted: A City Speaks."  What did Buffalonians say about the city?

Film crews interviewed city residents in 25 neighborhoods during nine days in July.  More than 500 Buffalonians participated in the filming of the movie.  Some were asked to summarize Buffalo in a word, one word.  The responses ranged from friendly to authentic, painting a beautiful picture of the city.

The movie premieres Friday evening.  There will be a reception beginning at 6pm at the Market Arcade Film and Arts Centre.  The movie, with a live narration, begins at 7:30pm.  A second showing has been scheduled for 12:30pm on Saturday afternoon.
