Finally some milder temperatures! it's got me thinking spring, and dare I say it? Maybe even summer! Like most Western New Yorkers I love to get outside! Here are some of my favorite things to do when the weather breaks:

Buffalo Waterfront

Head for the waterfront. Buffalo sits on an amazing lake! Oh sure it's no fun in the winter, but in warm weather Lake Erie is beautiful.  Our waterfront is coming back to life. Make sure you catch a sunset!

Anderson's

Go for custard! There are a lot of places to grab a cone, but my personal favorite is Anderson's. Great chocolate flavor!

Elmwood Village

Stroll through Elmwood Village. What I consider the heart of the city. Great shops and interesting people! Plus my favorite coffee shop, Cafe Aroma. There's nothing like sitting table side and people watching.

Four Mile Creek State Park

And finally my favorite place to camp in Western New York, Four Mile Creek State Park in Youngstown, NY. With spacious campsites, access to the Lake Ontario shoreline, and on a clear day, a nice view of Toronto!
