‘Buffalo Wild Wings’ Offers New Weird Wing Flavor

This past summer, at WingFest, I learned the hard way, some things just do NOT go on a chicken wing.

Like chocolate.  NO. Chocolate does NOT go well on a chicken wing.  I'm from the "try anything once" school of thought...but I can tell you now, this you can skip.

Trust me.  They were disgusting.

Not to be outdone, though, the wacky kids at Buffalo Wild Wings are offering a new sauce that tastes like Mountain Dew.  It's allegedly the result of a Citrus Bowl promotion...but I would hardly categorize Mountain Dew as "citrus".  It's green soda, people.

At any rate, they describe it as:

...the bold citrus flavor of Mountain Dew was infused with lemongrass and spicy red pepper-flakes to create a blast of sweet and spicy that will leave Guests asking for more.

Um, ok.  Ya know when you LOOK at it, it seems kind of appetizing.  Until you remember it's green soda.

Then again, if you're a big Mountain Dew fan, I guess this could do it for ya.

They're available today through January 2, 2016.
