Buffalo Woman Dies From Burns Sustained in Moselle Street Fire

A house fire on Moselle Street last week has claimed the life a 30-year-old female who was severely burned.

Officials with the Buffalo Fire Department say that the Gladys Bonner passed away at the Erie County Medical Center. Her death was first reported on Sunday after suffering burns to nearly 60 percent of her body.

Family and friends held a vigil to remember Gladys in front of her home on Monday night.

Investigators say that a marijuana-growing operation inside the Moselle Street home is most likely what caused the fire.

No charges have been filed.
