Buffalonian Gets Pulitzer Prize
Adam Zyglis of The Buffalo News received the 2015 Pulitzer Prize for Editorial Cartooning.
Adam Zyglis of The Buffalo News began drawing editorial cartoons in 2001 for a college newspaper. The Buffalo-area native joined The Buffalo News staff as an intern, becoming the staff cartoonist in 2004.
The 99th annual Pulitzer Prizes in Journalism, Letters, Drama and Music, awarded on the recommendation of the Pulitzer Prize Board, were announced on April 20, 2015, by Columbia University.
Kevin Kallaugher of the Baltimore Sun and Dan Perkins, drawing as Tom Tomorrow, of Daily Kos were also nominated as finalists.
