Right now I'm at WNY's newest hotspot -- Dough Boyz at the Walden Galleria mall.

And why wouldn't I be? Edible cookie dough? Lines out the door? I had to see what the fuss was all about.

In the past, I've eaten whole tubes of cookie dough -- completely throwing caution to the wind about food-borne illness, and diving right into that sweet, granular, soft texture that all raw cookie dough eaters know and love.

Dough Boyz dough is safe to eat because they use treated flour and the dough does not contain eggs.

I ordered the Peanut Mother Butter dough -- made with Reese's Pieces and peanut butter cups. It was awesome. And I'd do it again, even if it means 500 extra burpees at the gym this week.

Just opened at the Galleria Mall -- today marks one week since they opened shop, Dough Boyz is located near Jack Astors.

And when you walk by you might see lines extending all the way out to the Abercrombie & Fitch store next-door, but all told from the time I stood in line until I paid my check, it only took about 15 minutes.

It's pretty quick because the staff will ask for your order while you're standing in line, and have it ready for you by the time you get to the cashier. I saw some people overwhelmed by the size of the line and give up. Quitters. Also, they needlessly gave up! I've spent more time waiting in the Timmy Ho's drive thru.

It's all good. More cookie dough for me.
