Buffalo’s Top 3 Favorite Places for Old Fashioned Sundaes
Honestly, why bother waiting for summer to jump on this one. Buffalo is home to some seriously good candy and ice cream joints around town. Between the homemade sweets and sponge candy is the hidden gem spots that make the best old fashioned sundaes that are to die for. Now, don't even think about waiting – get your significant other and go knock these all off your list.
The more I think about this, I go to so many candy shops that maybe I should just do a review on each of them. Or at least rank their sponge candy in order – what a hard job I have.
Parkside Candy
3208 Main St., Buffalo, NY 14214This place is a gem so just ignore the outside and get inside. Parkside makes the best candy around, and you will never leave disappointed. They have people that have been coming for 20 years just for the ice cream! It's incredible.
Condrell's Candies & Ice Cream
2805 Delaware Ave, Buffalo, NY 14217My favorite: banana ice cream with peanut butter, cashews and whipped cream. To die for! Oh yeah, some of the best sponge candy around.
Antoinette's
5981 Transit Rd, Depew, NY 14043My go-to place. The most pricey on all of the list; but if you like whipped cream, there is no better place in Buffalo. True old fashioned sundaes made right.
