Sabres fans are being offered a unique opportunity this week.  A Buffalo-native who works as a production assistant on the TV show "The Office" is asking die-hard Sabres fans to be part of a new movie.  The Documentary will profile the lives of fans through the joys and heartbreaks of a hockey season.  What do you need to do to be part of the movie?

Director/Producer Mary Wall has issued casting calls for fans interested in taking part in the film.  You can walk in to the casting sessions, or email bflosabresdoc@gmail.com for an appointment.   The sessions are taking place this week at the following locations:

Wednesday: 5-8 p.m  -  Spot Coffee, 765 Elmwood Avenue
Thursday: 5-8 p.m  -  Audubon Library, 350 John James Audubon Parkway, Amherst
Friday: 5-8 p.m   -  The Comfort Zone Cafe, 17 Main Street, Hamburg

The Buffalo Sabres Fan Documentary Page on Facebook  indicates Wall is looking for all types of fans from season ticket holders to those who have only dreamed of attending a game.  The page indicates the plot will be centered around the city's faith in its team despite never winning a Stanley Cup in the Sabres 41-year history.  Hopefully the movie will have a happy ending.  Go Sabres!!!
