Cheektowaga Man Busted For Impersonating A Deceased Soldier To Meet Women Online
This is the face of utter DISGRACE.
Twenty-nine-year-old Brandon Ashraf of Cheektowaga was just busted for criminal impersonation of an Army staff sergeant who was killed in action in Afghanistan in 2009.
Why was he impersonating this soldier who died serving our country?
So he could meet women online.
This is Army Staff Sergeant Matthew Pucino. A Green Beret who died in Afghanistan in 2009 at the age of 34.
Brandon set up fake Facebook and online dating profiles using Matthew's pictures and catfished enough women that one from Florida finally agreed to meet him. Matthew's family eventually got word that someone was impersonating him, and thankfully, Brandon was arrested and charged.
