The end (of the year) is nigh.

In less than a month, we'll all be gathering together to watch the ball drop, yell out the last few seconds of the year in unison and drink copious amounts of champagne. We hope 2013 has been good to you, but whether it has or hasn't, you deserve to celebrate. We've compiled a list of major events -- both family-friendly and not so much -- happening locally this New Year's Eve so you can say goodbye to 2013 and hello to 2014 in style.
