College Student Raped In South Buffalo [VIDEO]

Buffalo police are investigating a South Buffalo rape that happened in broad daylight late Tuesday morning.

Authorities say that the 18-22 year old female victim was approached from behind, hit with a weapon and dragged into a wooded area near Hillery Park, just south of the Buffalo River, and raped.

Buffalo police have released surveillance video of the suspect walking near Hillery Park Academy, and asking for the publics' help identify him. The suspect is said to be a light-skinned male between 30-to-40 years old, and last seen wearing a green & brown camouflage shirt.

The victim is a student at Trocaire College in South Buffalo.
