BIG congratulations are in order for November's Teacher of the Month, Mrs. Georgiana Wieszczecinski from Union East Elementary!

Mrs. Wieszczecinski was nominated by Shannon DiSanto. Her first grader, Cody, is in Mrs. Wieszczecinski's class. Shannon says:

There are many reasons why she should be named Teacher of the Month.  She does not treat her position as a job.  She considers each student as one of her own. With each child she has, whom have their own special needs, she creates her planning to fit all the needs and interests.  She has been teaching my nephew for the second year, and has kept me informed of his behavior, needs and challenges.  along with helping understand what I could be doing to help him grow academically.  In addition, she has not changed her teachings for years earlier.  she taught my niece for 3 years.

As much as she sees them as her kids, she has become a part of the family.  It is nice to have a teacher want to see her students succeed.  And to know she influenced their learning habits is wonderful.

For all that teachers do, this is a GREAT way for parents to thank their kids' teachers for the time they spend with our kids.  Thank Mrs. "W" for being a great mom when you have Cody and his friends. And thank you 96.1 for creating this.

As a small token of our appreciation, Mrs. "W" received a $50 SpOt Coffee gift card and a pretty sweet Brother MFC-J430w InkJet All-In-One Wireless Printer/Scanner/Copier/Fax Machine, courtesy of Rapid Refill, for the classroom! Cody’s class was also treated to a pizza party, delivered by Southgate Pizza, for the nomination!

THANK YOU TO ALL TEACHERS WHO WORK SO HARD EVERY DAY!
