Secret Super Cool Pool for Kids at a Low Price in Amherst – Moms Of Buffalo

As we keep building up your 2016 calendar I have another cool place for you. If you have kids 2-14 they will love the pool this summer at Clearfield Community Center in Amherst!

The pictures speak for themselves....it's SUPER cool. If you are not a resident with an ID card you will have to pay $5 for the day but it's well worth it. Plan a day from Mid June when it opens until the end of August when it closes.

The kids pool as you can see is awesome. 3 waterslides, 2 in front 1 in back. Tons of things to 'pull' to get soaked...kind of like a mini Hooks Lagoon without feeling like you need to shower when you go home! Young kids love it - but the older one's have a blast too - several 'tunnels' to hide in! The big pool is great too for parents to chill out in while the kids play, or the kids can jump in and have a blast as well. Nice playground (you can see it above) for kids up to 12 with swings, picnic tables to eat.

Also the Clearfield library is right here in case you want to take a break from the pool area, tennis courts for kids to play on if they are old enough, and you can walk to get food at Dash's next door or LaPorta's (Pizza/Subs) 2 minutes away. I can't tell you how many times I have spent 4-5 hours hanging out at Clearfield with my son Derek over the years. In fact when was 2-3 he used to say 'take me to my favorite park!' (Clearfield playround) all the time! Sadly those days are long gone :( BUT - for sure make a trip to the corner of Klein and Hopkins in Amherst this summer - you will be glad you did!
