Daughters Talk About Losing A Parent To Cancer + It Will Break Your Heart [VIDEO]

I could never imagine what these two girls have gone through, watching their father battle cancer and pass away at such a young age. Let alone, these girls, who are still growing up have to handle such a void in their life, but they do so with such bravery, grace and honor.

Stuart Scott, who was 49 years old last year, passed away from cancer, left behind his family including his two young daughters, 20-year-old Taelor and 16-year-old Sydni Scott. On their website, the girls wrote:

You lived your life with a fierce sense of authenticity, passion and competitiveness, giving it your all and reaching for the best in everything you did. When you were diagnosed with cancer, you showed the world how to fight with that same fierce passion, instilling a sense of hope and inspiration to so many.”

They then introduced this video that honored their father and what he meant to them. They reflect on their father, what he meant to them and what he means to them and it will break your heart. Most importantly, it will remind you personally to love your parents every day, treat them with respect and let them know you love them, because you never know what will happen.
