UPDATE (7/1): As promised, Demi's new single "Body Say" has just hit digital retailers at midnight worldwide and...damn, it's fire. Also, upon further review in studio quality, "Body Say" doesn't really sound like Selenita's "Good For You," it just also happens to be very sexy and moody and finger-snappy, but it's a little more synth-y and sing-y. Ya feel?

"Speed it up baby, make me sweat..." She's hot for the summer.

What's wrong with being Confident? Well...that's so last year, for one thing.

Indeed, Demetria Lovato is already switching gears, stripping down and heading straight into the D6 era with the surprise live debut of her new single, "Body Say," which is rumored to be released this Friday (July 1) — and it's getting steamy up in here.

As many have already pointed out in the YouTube comments, the finger-snapping track sort of recalls a certain sexy slow sizzler from a fellow Disney princess: Selena Gomez's "Good For You." (Undoubtedly, stan wars will ensue...and indeed, they already have.)

That said, this brand of slow-burn, downtempo R&B is most definitely "in" at radio — just look at The Weeknd, Zayn and Rihanna's latest offerings.

Then again, Demi says she really don't care (REFERENCE) about success at radio.

“I don’t care about radio hits. When you try hard for that, it doesn’t happen. It’s songs like ‘Stone Cold’ that I don’t get tired of singing on tour. I get tired of singing ‘Give Your Heart a Break’ and even ‘Confident’ already. I have yet to reach my peak, and also, my voice is better now than it was a year ago. Now I can show people what I can do," she recently told Latina.

There's also something kinda JoJo about the new track, although it's hard to really form an opinion from a phone recording at a concert. So! Listen for yourselves to the live premiere of "Body Say" during the opening night of the Future Now Tour with Nick Jonas in Atlanta this evening (July 29) up top.

Go ahead and apply two layers of Devonne by Demi moisturizing primer before you listen Lovatics, 'cause you're gonna be sweating it all off.

And here it is from a different (closer) angle:
