Travel this morning in the Southern Tier could be tricky due to dense fog in the area.

The National Weather Service has issued a Dense Fog Advisory for much of the Southern Tier until 10 am this morning.

The National Weather Service in Buffalo has issued a Dense Fog
Advisory, which is in effect until 10 AM EDT this morning.

* LOCATIONS...Wyoming, Livingston, Chautauqua, Cattaraugus,
  Allegany, and Southern Erie counties.

* TIMING...Through late this morning.

* VISIBILITIES...A quarter mile or less.

* IMPACTS...Motorists should exercise caution and slow down
  in areas with poor visibility.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Dense Fog Advisory is issued when dense fog will substantially
reduce visibilities, resulting in hazardous driving conditions in
some areas. Motorists are advised to use caution and slow down,
as objects on and near roadways will be seen only at close range.
