I have run across at least a few of the list of travelers have been left stranded at the Niagara Falls Airport by Direct Air.

In case you missed the story, passengers who boarded their planes Monday night at the Niagara Falls Airport were suddenly told they wouldn't be taking off. Direct Air made an announcement that the company was suspending all flights until May 15th.

The statement said, in part "Direct Air finds it necessary to suspend flight operation until May 15th. This decision was made to address operational matters. We are currently evaluating strategic alternatives for Direct Air."

Three flights from the Falls and many more Direct Air flights across the country were grounded over an apparent discrepancy over fuel payments.

Direct Air says customers seeking a refund should contact their credit card company.
