Caution: This video is difficult to watch. Especially if you imagine your child was in it...whether they were the victim or the suspects.

It happened on July 9 in Pinellas, Fla., and left a sixth grader with black eyes and a broken hand. The three attackers were all arrested. Watching this poor kid just get womped on is hard enough...what's worse is, the bus driver doesn't appear to interfere.

WFLA-TV News Channel 8

School policy is that if the driver can interfere SAFELY, he/she should do so. I've gotta say, I don't think this man would've been safe at all if he stepped in. Of course, now there's controversy over whether or not the bus driver could've done more. He says he did all he was able to, by calling dispatch (proper protocol in this school) and telling them to hurry.

What do you think? Was the bus driver right in following protocol? Could he have done more, and should he have? What do you think the punishment should be for the attackers? Do you think the attackers are all to blame? Share your thoughts...
