A new study showed the best cities for trick-or-treating....basically it's places where young, rich people live close together in safe neighborhoods.

San Francisco came in first, followed by San Jose, Los Angeles, Milwaukee, and Phoenix.

Lots of you called this morning and said you DO travel for better candy or better neighborhoods.

Others called and said many come to their neighborhoods by the van-ful, drop off their kids, and pick them up later.

Dave Universal said he didn't think you should be allowed to trick-or-treat in other people's neighborhoods.  (Feel free to contact him david.universal@townsquaremedia.com)

For me personally, our biggest mission when we were kids was hitting the houses we KNEW gave out full-size candy bars!  We avoided the raisin-givers and dental-floss-passer-outers. :)

So....

  • where's the best neighborhood for trick-or-treating?
  • do you travel to different neighborhoods to get the goods? If so, why?
  • how do you feel about people coming to your neighborhood?
