Coco (Submitted by Mark Pohlman)

My dog Coco is the sweetest dog I have ever seen!! She is 3 years old. She loves to swim, play ball and jump in the snow! Coco loves to camp and even has her own chair to sit in! She is truly the love of my life!!!

Sadie (Submitted by Sarah Pitzrick)

Sadie is a 2-4-year-old black lab mix. I just met her in December 2012 when she came to live at the animal rescue where I volunteer, Diamonds in the Ruff. When Sadie moved in, she was pregnant with her second or third litter of puppies that were born in December. Sadie was an excellent mother, and all the puppies were adopted at eight weeks, and Sadie finally came home with me in December. Sadie and I are perfect roommates because we put up with each other, meaning Sadie doesn't roll her eyes when I sing along to the radio or pose her in foofy homemade collars for photo shoots, and I don't hold a grudge when she decides to chase a possum through the rain at 5:30 in the morning while I am still in my pajamas or when she eats my favorite shoes. I've recently started taking Sadie running with me, as I'm training for a few local 5ks. It took a little practice, and lots of patience, but now she's a great running partner and often gets me out the door when I'd rather stay on the couch. Sadie also enjoys hiking and antagonizing the cats. I'm so glad I met Sadie and even happier that I am the lucky one who adopted her. I can't wait to see what other adventures are in store for us!

Benny is one in a million. He is 6 years old. We love him so much and he is part of our family. Benny loves treats, loves to cuddle, loves children and most of all he loves to get pampered. If Benny wins he would be so thankful.

Abby (Submitted by Ryan Gerevics)

This is Abby, and she is a daddy's girl and a cuddle bug! Her long eyelashes are adorable, and her personality is even cuter. Her hobbies include, but are not limited to: eating baseboard molding, playing fetch for HOURS and swimming. She was born in Warsaw. This is one of the friendliest dogs you will ever meet!

Henry (Submitted by Lisa Arndt)

Henry is a 1-year-old Plott Hound mix with an abundance of energy!! He loves people and other dogs and just can't get enough playtime in his life. Besides playing with his other doggy friends, Henry's favorite activity is running on the treadmill! He also enjoys eating shoes and dog beds when Mommy and Daddy aren't home.

Pancakes (Submitted by Gretchen Olson)

Pancakes is a handsome Shetland Sheepdog who turned 6 years old on July 22. He loves to dance on his back legs for treats and laughs. His favorite places to walk in the summer are Buffalo’s Olmsted Parks. Occasionally, he'll howl for his favorite songs on 96.1 Joy FM.

Scooter is 9 years old but still looks like a puppy. He’s very shy and hides under the bed if anyone comes to visit. He has a stuffed little lion that he sucks on to fall asleep. His favorite treat is Slim Jim-type things for puppies

Waffles is a rescued Belgian Milionis that loves long walks anywhere we can take her. Her favorite places to walk are the pet-friendly state parks around Niagara Falls. She is becoming quite the ham and loves to jump in front of our camera whenever she gets the chance.

Mocha (Submitted by Erica Schott)

Mocha is a 2-year-old chocolate/silver Lab who had just had her first litter of five pups. She blessed us with two silvers and three chocolate/silvers. The picture I sent is our Mocha and her daughter sleeping on her…priceless, right?
