Buddha (Submitted by Theresa Sellitto)

Buddha is 5-year-old Amstaff. His breed gets bullied. He loves walks in Como Park and rides around town – he even knows the word walk spelled out. Mom has to be careful while spelling. His favorite treat is homemade frosty paws. Buddha is a great big brother to his rescue sister Medusa. He lets her lie on top of him and play, play, play. Buddha is a curious yet reserved dog. He does not bark, but will howl if other dogs are near. He has helped his parents train Medusa and isn't even jealous. Buddha looks real mean, and he does not understand why some people or so scared of him. Lastly, if you’re sick, he will lay and cuddle with you until you feel better. We love our boot scoot and boogie.

Mack is a 10-month-old purebred Pug. He has a great personality and is up for anything. My husband and I just got married in June, so Mack attended our wedding ceremony and was a perfect gentlemen!! He loves rope toys and empty water bottles. His favorite trick is dancing on his back two legs. He loves all humans and dogs. This picture is from our recent camping trip to Allegheny. It was his first time camping, and we discovered that he loves water!

Dakota loves everyone and her toys. She has a Kermit the Frog blanket that she loves to sleep with. Her beautiful blue/brown eyes make it easy for her to persuade anyone into taking her for a walk! Any sight of her leash makes her veryyy happy. She is 5 years old and a mix breed and the cutest dog ever!

Hi, my name is Cosmo! I'm a very energetic little Iggy! I love hot summer days and swimming with my parents! My parents are getting married in September, and I would love a trip to the doggie spa to get pampered and to meet lots of new friends while they're on their honeymoon! Please consider me while I enjoy many more dog days of summer!

Rufus McGuire Forster (Submitted by Kristen Forster)

Rufus came into our lives at a perfect time. We had just lost our Boxer Mercedes in October, and we went out “just to look.” We asked the man if he had any Boxers left, and he said no, but he had one Beabull left. For those of you that don’t know a Beabull is Beagle and Bulldog mix. He stole our hearts. Rufus is 8 months old; he is 1/4 Beagle and 3/4 Bulldog. His favorite toy is his unstuffed skunk and his dad. He doesn't know any tricks yet, just sit — he is so rambunctious that he doesn't do that well. Rufus picked us at a perfect time. We love him very much, and he is very SPOILED.

Reuben (Submitted by David Haas)

Reuben is a 3-year-old Beagle mix that we adopted from Akron Canine Angels after they saved him from a high-kill shelter. His favorite toys are a stuffed alligator that he plays with every morning along with a small stuffed fox that he got for Valentines Day from our 3-year-old niece. As you can tell from his picture, he loves going on hikes and joins the family whenever we go on camping trips. Above anything else, Reuben loves cuddling, attention and just being with his people!

He is a Boston Terrier, and he is 2 years old. He love to be outside and run. His favorite trick is giving high-fives. He like playing with his Frisbee and ball. He loves to cuddle.

Brody (Submitted by Lisa Morrissey)

Brody is a 5-year-old smooth coat Border Collie. I adopted him almost four years ago from Skyway Border Collie Rescue. Brody was very timid and scared of his own shadow, so I taught him tricks to build his confidence. Brody is currently titled as an Expert Trick Dog and is a few tricks away from earning his Champion title. Brody also likes training in Canine Freestyle and is a fabulous Disc Dog. Brody has many fans on Facebook and YouTube and has his own web page. Brody would like a career in acting and modeling.
