As the saying goes, the best laid plans of mice and men often go awry....and the organizers of a Sacramento, California Easter egg hunt learned it the hard way.

They were apparently trying to set the world record for the biggest egg hunt ever, but failed in a couple of ways.

First, they put down a half-million eggs.  And while that's a lot, it wasn't enough to set the world record.

Second, the entire thing turned into chaos.  Bigger kids trampled little kids, parents got involved, trampling EVERYONE to get eggs for their own kids, kids were getting hurt, parents were swearing at each other...it was a mess.
.

I've hosted these types of events, and you would not BELIEVE the depths some parents will sink to, for one lousy plastic egg with a single piece of candy inside.  It was some of the saddest representations of "parental guidance" I've ever seen.

Lucky for us, our Live Events department comes up with all sorts of fun, SAFE, and awesome events for kids big and little....Have you gotten your tickets for this year's 'Kid-A-Baloo' event?  Last year we had to turn people away because they didn't get their tickets in time.  DON'T LET THAT HAPPEN TO YOU!
