Easy Pastry Hearts

1 lb. small cottage cheese
1 tsp. vanilla

Blend until smooth in blender.

In bowl, cut 1 cup of butter and 1 cup of Crisco into 4 cups of flour. Mix in cottage cheese mixture by hand.

Refrigerate overnight. Roll out dough 1/4" thick. Cut out heart shapes.

Bake on ungreased cookie sheet, 400 degrees 15-20 minutes.

Frost with powdered sugar and milk frosting.
