Google is looking for young and curious minds to enter the Google Science Fair 2012.  The competition comes from around the globe, but the prizes are world class.

The Google Science Fair is an online competition open to students between the ages of 13-years and 18-years from around the world.  You don't have to be a straight "A" student to enter.  All you need is an idea!

The Google Science Fair website simply writes that "Everyone has a question.  What's yours?"

"It could be a new take on particle physics, or game theory. It could be a cost-effective way to provide clean water to a remote community, or maybe a project like reducing the carcinogenic properties of grilled chicken (that was one of last year’s winning entries). It should definitely be inspired."

Sounds difficult to me, but maybe it doesn't have to be.  Start with a basic idea and then go from there.  Somebody has to win!  And there are some awesome prizes like a scientific trip to the Galapagos Islands with National Geographic Expeditions!

The key is to get started right away, there's not much time!  To find out more or register online click here!  You have until April 1, 2012 to get your project done and upload it to google.
