Local Restaurant Week is here in Buffalo and the week is still young. You may be thinking about getting out and trying some new foods and restaurants this week. Let me help you with a few of my suggestions, based on my favorites on the list. Here are my Top 5 Must Try Restaurants.

1. Black and Blue (Williamsville)

This is one of my FAVORITE restaurants in all of Buffalo and definitely a must try if you have never been. The service is incredible and the food is amazing. You will be able to tell you're in for a great meal the moment you walk in the front door!

2. Providence Social (Buffalo West Side)

This gem is located on the city's west side. The atmosphere is really awesome, a great intimate setting, as well as a great social one combined. The food and cocktails are what will keep you coming back time and time again. So if you're looking for a great place to gather with friends, have a few drinks, and share a few plates. This is the place for you.

Dinner for One: $20.17 TO START: Choice of Daily Soup or Fresh Green Salad. SECOND COURSE: Pork Belly Lechon, sticky rice, bok choy, shiitake mushrooms. OR Seared Shrimp, parisian gnocchi, roasted cauliflower, fried caper

3. Hydraulic Hearth Restaurant & Brewery (Buffalo)

One of the coolest places in Buffalo. Great food at incredibly reasonable prices! Obviously the draw is the pizza made in their wood-fire oven. The options are incredible and the atmosphere is fantastic.

$20.17 Any Appetizer + Any Pizza

4. D'Avolio's Kitchen (Buffalo & Willamsville)

By far one of the GREATEST finds I have ever had. For awhile I only associated D'Avolio's with their olive oils. But when I discovered their restaurant I fell in love. They have an unbelievably delicious menu. From sandwiches and salads to pizza this place will make you fall in love. The menu is totally customize-able and they offer all of their olive oils to try and use with your meal.

$20.17 2 Entrees, your choice of salad, sandwich, or antipasto!

5. The Lodge Bar and Grill (Buffalo)

Some might associate The Lodge with only a bar on Chippewa, but that is FAR from accurate.  Yes The Lodge is a popular nighttime weekend spot, however it is an amazing restaurant. Beautifully decorated and really well done drinks and food! If you have not dined there before I highly encourage that you do!
