The 4th annual Bully Free 5K and 1 mile fun walk will take place on Friday, May 13th. The walk will begin at 6:15 pm and the race will begin at 6:30 pm. It begins and ends in front of Lorraine Elementary (behind Mercy Hospital) with the route extending thru the South Buffalo neighborhoods where many of the students of Lorraine Elementary live. A post-race party following the race/walk will celebrate the Bully Free Mission with a magician, a bounce house, a rock wall, and face painting for free for the children that participate in the race/walk. There will also be a smoothie bar, pizza, Sahlen’s hot dogs, snacks, a 50/50 drawing, a huge basket raffle and a grand prize drawing for an I-Pad, BEATS headphones, and Sabres tickets. Several VIP’s in attendance will present Bully Free Awards to several students.
All money raised will be used to provide the students, staff, families of Lorraine Elementary, and the South Buffalo community with Bully Free programs and anti-bully education.
